RotopaX

2 Gallon Fuel+Water Combo

RotopaX 2 Gallon Pair — 2 Gal Gas + Your Choice of Second Pack

Our best-selling size, two ways. One 2 Gallon Gasoline Pack plus a second 2 Gallon pack of your choosing, in one box at one price.

Start with the size everyone buys.

The 2 Gallon is the best-selling size RotopaX offers: big enough to matter, small enough to mount almost anywhere. The Pair starts with the red Gasoline Pack and lets you pick what rides next to it. Every option shares the same footprint, and these packs interlock with each other to form a single 4-gallon-sized unit, so they stack, pair, and swap on the same mounts.

Included: 2 Gallon Gasoline Pack (red) — Enough to cover a long detour or get a second vehicle moving. The pack more RotopaX customers own than any other.

Choose your second pack:

  • Water — White, Black, Green, or Tan. Drinking, rinsing, cleanup, fire.
  • Gasoline — Double your range. Four gallons total.
  • Diesel — Yellow and Clearly marked so there’s never a question of what’s in it.
  • DEF — Dedicated pack for modern diesel trucks.
  • Storage — Same roto-molded shell, no spout. Latching lid and a gasket seal keep tools, recovery gear, a first aid kit, or dry clothes out of the dust and weather. Fuel on one side, everything else on the other.

Where To Mount Your RotopaX

Easy, Secure Mounting

Combine any mount with any container for the perfect setup for your next adventure. Simply follow the steps below to secure it to your vehicle.

Step 1: Choose Your Mounting Location

Step 1: Choose Your Mounting Location

Decide where you want to install your RotopaX—bed rack, roof rack, rear panel, or side rail. Make sure it’s a flat, sturdy surface and check for enough clearance.

Step 2: Install the Mounting Plate and Pack Mount

Step 2: Install the Mounting Plate and Pack Mount

Use the included hardware to fasten the base plate to your truck. Then screw the RotopaX mount into the center hole until it’s fully secure. Tip: A socket wrench helps tighten it firmly.

Step 3: Attach and Lock the Container

Step 3: Attach and Lock the Container

Slide the RotopaX container onto the mount and twist the T-handle until it locks. Tug it gently to ensure it’s snug—there should be no movement.

Looking to stack containers?

You'll need an extension. The size of your base container determines which extension you'll need. For example, to stack a 1 gallon container on top of a 3 gallon container, you’ll need a pax mount plus a 3 gallon extension.
