Step 1: Choose Your Mounting Location

Step 1: Choose Your Mounting Location

Decide where you want to install your RotopaX—bed rack, roof rack, rear panel, or side rail. Make sure it’s a flat, sturdy surface and check for enough clearance.

Step 2: Install the Mounting Plate and Pack Mount

Step 2: Install the Mounting Plate and Pack Mount

Use the included hardware to fasten the base plate to your truck. Then screw the RotopaX mount into the center hole until it’s fully secure. Tip: A socket wrench helps tighten it firmly.

Step 3: Attach and Lock the Container

Step 3: Attach and Lock the Container

Slide the RotopaX container onto the mount and twist the T-handle until it locks. Tug it gently to ensure it’s snug—there should be no movement.

Looking to stack containers?

You'll need an extension. The size of your base container determines which extension you'll need. For example, to stack a 1 gallon container on top of a 3 gallon container, you’ll need a pack mount plus a 3 gallon extension.
